First Aid
Program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic, seizures and poisoning.
Basic First Aid is the most popular program offered by ASHI. This nationally acceptedprogram satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). This program can be used for community and workplace programs.
When taught to foster parents we include information for pediatric first aid, childhood illnesses and some basic foster licensing information such as what to be included in your first aid kits and basic water safety.
