Independent Living Skills Program
Youth who are turning 18 and leaving foster care, experience serious problems trying to make it on their own. Many become homeless, sick, pregnant and/or in jail.
Folsom Lake College "Independent Living Skills Program" offers training to eligible youth .
Our goal in the "Independent Living Skills Program" is to enable youth to achieve self-sufficiency prior to emancipation.
We provide training and individualized services to assist each youth in achieving their goals.
