In Tune With Temperament    -  presented by the EDCOE Early Childhood Specialists
When: Wednesday, October 14, 10:30am--12:30pm
Where: Department of Human Services, 3057 Briw Rd., Placerville
What: Ever feel out of step with the children in your home? Join us for a look at how temperament impacts every day behaviors. Find out what your child’s unique characteristics are and learn how to best support his/her strengthens and challenges.

Monthly Meeting at Department of Human Services
Meeting and Training with Judy Knapp from the Center for Violence Free Relationships, sponsored by CPS
When: Thursday, October 15, 10:00-12:00
Where: Department of Human Services, 3057 Briw Rd., Placerville
What: Judy Knapp will present Helping Children Heal from Sexual Abuse

Your Responsibilities as a Mandated Reporter - presented by the Child Abuse Prevention Council
When: Wednesday, October 21, 7-9pm
Where: El Dorado County Office of Education in Room B3
What: Participants will receive a handbook and we will cover the following topics: California Child Abuse Neglect and Reporting Law, Identification of Environmental Problems, Parental Clues, Physical and Behavioral Indicators, Guidelines to Determine Reasonable Suspicion, and Major Treatment Issues. We will repeat this class for a morning training TBA.

**Fall Weekend Training**
Join us for a Sat./Sun. training overnight at the Gold Hill Retreat Center near Coloma
Saturday, November 7 through Sunday, November 8.
"Communication Breakdowns" will be one of our main topics.
