Fetal Alcohol Syndrome: What is it?

What are the short term and long term effects on babies when mom is drinking or using? Bob Currey, experienced foster parent and trainer from Sac. County will share his expertise with us. You’ll gain an understanding of brain development and symptoms that may indicate a child was prenatally exposed to drugs or alcohol. Bob will return in November with ideas on how we can help our children.
Supporting Children Exposed to Domestic Violence

Join us for this training which was designed especially for foster parents. Judy Knapp from the Center for Violence Free Relationships will share the effects of domestic violence and how you as a caregiver can help the children in your home.
